Meredith Honig is an award-winning documentary filmmaker, video journalist and producer drawn to stories that are easy to overlook and difficult to forget.

Over two decades, she has worked around the world—from villages in Mozambique to major television productions in Los Angeles—directing, filming and producing across documentary, television, podcasting and digital media. Her credits include the History Channel series Battles BC, the acclaimed podcast Finding Raffi, and front-page reporting for The New York Times.

Meredith earned her master’s degree in Video Journalism from UNC-Chapel Hill, where she completed After the Water, a documentary about communities rebuilding after catastrophic flooding in North Carolina and Texas.

Based in North Carolina and raising three wild boys, she brings curiosity, humor and genuine human connection to stories about resilience, identity and the complicated ways people rebuild their lives.
