Meredith Honig is an award-winning documentary filmmaker, video journalist, and producer drawn to stories that are easy to overlook and difficult to forget. She brings the rigor of a reporter, the visual instincts of a filmmaker, and more than two decades of production experience to uncovering and telling them.

Her work has taken her around the world—from villages in Mozambique to major television productions in Los Angeles—reporting, directing, filming, and producing across documentary, television, podcasting, and digital media. Along the way, she has built a career on earning trust, finding the human stories behind complex issues, and bringing ambitious projects from initial curiosity to final cut. Her credits include the History Channel's Battles BC, the acclaimed podcast Finding Raffi, and front-page reporting for The New York Times.

A recipient of the 2025 Beckman Documentary Award, Meredith earned her master's degree in Video Journalism from UNC-Chapel Hill, where she completed After the Water, a documentary exploring disaster, resilience, and what communities in North Carolina and Texas fight to preserve in the aftermath of catastrophic flooding.

Based in North Carolina, where she's raising three wild boys, Meredith approaches her work with curiosity, humor, and the belief that the most compelling stories begin with genuine human connection.
